Bhagya Suwa Arana Ayurveda was founded in 2019, in Sri Lanka by Dr. Kahapola Arachchige Baddrani Fernando who graduated with a B.A.M.S (Hon’s) as a Professional Ayurveda Physician from Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute, University of Kelaniya and hailed from an ancestral family of Traditional Ayurveda Physicians.
This was established with the vision to propagate holistic answers for the thousands of patients through Ayurveda and Hela Wedakama with extensive knowledge and experiences.
Our concept of healing and wellness is deeply focused on improving your mental and physical well-being in order to achieve a complete harmony of life by determining which of the dosha is imbalanced and thus the root cause of disease.

Dr. Kahapola Arachchige Baddrani Fernando is the founder of Bhagya Suwa Arana Ayurveda and qualified as a Professional Ayurvedic Doctor and hailed from an ancestral family of Traditional Ayurveda Physicians. She graduated with a Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery – B. A. M. S (Hon’s) from Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute, University of Kelaniya. She is qualified with Diploma in Ayurveda Panchakarma, Diploma in Ayurveda Beauty culture, an Advance certificate in Aroma Therapy, Certificate in Yoga and Relaxation Techniques, a Certificate in Ultrasound Scanning, Certificate in Herbal Drugs and Cosmetic Value Addition Techniques and as well as many other areas.
She joined the academic staff of the Department of Kaumarabhrtya and Stri Roga, at Gampaha WIchramarachchi Ayurveda Institute, University of Kelaniya in 2019. She has published many research articles in international journals and presented her research works at local and international research symposiums showing the success of Ayurveda and Traditional Medicine in the management of health issues. She has been given a great contribution to society through her valuable article publications in international and local magazines by using extensive knowledge and her clinical experiences. She won the award of Best Innovator at Young Ayurveda Researchers and Innovators Symposium (YARIS -2019). She conducts research and development activities of manufacturing high-quality herbal medicines for different disease types as an entrepreneur. She has produced the most successful medicines for Covid -19 with curing many patients.
